The Ged Blaney Memorial Cricket Tournament is held each year on August bank holiday Sunday at Whitehaven Cricket Club and raises money for the Henderson Suite @ West Cumberland Hospital. I did not think that at 30 years old I would be getting treated for cancer at the Henderson Suite but here I am and the time spent there already has, believe it or not, been a joy! The staff are amazing and there is a real sense of support and positivity.
