Story

Henfield FC U8s want to buy hand creams for key workers whose hands are getting very dry and sore from using hand sanitiser to help keep others and themselves safe during the coronavirus situation. The 23 players, age 7 and 8, are taking part in a goal scoring challenge, to score 100 great goals each (at home) to raise money for this initiative.

Team manager Tom Wilson says:

“The boys are really missing their weekly training sessions and matches, so we have been setting a few challenges to help them kick their way through coronavirus and stay active. We thought it would be great if this latest challenge helped support others too. The challenge was inspired by Colonel Tom Moore, with the players completing the challenge on his 100th birthday.”
