Story
I'm raising £5,000 to allow Mending Fences CIC to support people in need.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Henry and the team are taking on a huge challenge: 100 miles along the South Downs Way, from Winchester to Eastbourne. Three days. Relentless hills. One powerful purpose.
They’re walking to raise awareness for mental health and to support Mending Fences, a community‑driven CIC providing vital counselling for people who need it most.
Starting Friday 22nd May, the team will push through long days, tough terrain, and whatever the weather decides to throw at them. We’ll be documenting the entire journey—capturing the highs, the lows, and the honest conversations that make this challenge matter. The story will be shaped into a short documentary to shine a light on the cause and the people behind it.
We’re now inviting sponsors, partners, and supporters to stand with us. Whether you’re a business, a club, a community group, or an individual who believes in the mission, your involvement will have a real impact.
Your support truly matters.
Please share this, follow the journey, and—if you’re able—donate to help fuel the work of Mending Fences.
Let’s walk these miles together and show what community can achieve.
Anyone is welcome to join sections of the route. Start points for each day and checkpoint locations will be confirmed soon.
All funds raised will go directly toward providing counselling support on a self‑referral basis for individuals in need.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, I will withdraw funds directly. It's the most efficient way to donate and saves time and costs.
