Story
For as long as I can remember I have been interested in the struggles of others. I am particularly moved by the experiences of those recovering from conflict and dealing with extreme poverty. This has motivated my participation in the Camp International trip to Cambodia in 2020. I will spend a month working on construction projects, building homes and schools, and nutrition projects raising awareness of alternative agricultural opportunities. In this way, I hope to interact with Cambodians and hear their stories whilst simultaneously providing a service to their communities. Camp International is a registered charity, the cost of my trip is £4500 and all fundraising proceeds will go to Camp International. I am extremely grateful to them for this opportunity and to any of you should you wish to donate.
I will be updating this page with news of upcoming fundraising events in due course, I absolutely intend to work for any donations! I am planning a sponsored litter clean up and a clothes exchange event and lots and lots and lots of baking!

5 years agoHello! My apologies for the lack of update recently, however, I am still down at the Bollin River every weekend picking up rubbish. Below is a picture of state of the river before pulling out huge chunks of rubbish like this polystyrene packet. I am going to venture out to other public places in the coming weeks so please do say Hello if you see me. Thank you!!
