1st Samford Valley Scout Group has a growing number of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and long may this continue. The Scouting movement provides an inclusive environment for young minds to experience and explore life - to overcome challenges and to make new friends. We need resources to do this, and have a dwindling store of kit which needs enhancing and protecting for future Beavers, Cubs and Scouts! In fact the kit has only just been recovered from a variety of different locations from all over the peninsular! We desperately need a storage solution and a transport solution to facilitate camps and trips.

Scouting helped shaped my young mind and I have been a volunteer for the last 12 years - all three of my children have benefitted from it hugely from making friends with owls to overnight camps, boat building, knotting skills, baking, racing, face painting, first aid, survival skills and live video links with cubs and scouts from across the river and the rest of the world. I want to make sure every child has the opportunity to experience the same! A little investment at this stage will benefit generations to come.
