Story

Hereford Harriers Wheelchair Rugby club provides Wheelchair Tag Rugby for disabled and able bodied members from Herefordshire and the surrounding areas.

Wheelchairs and other equipment is provided for use free of charge.

The only criteria is that you can push a chair and catch ball, the rest we can work on!

We aim to develop the sport in within Herefordshire to offer opportunities to people with and without a disability to participate together in sport without barriers.

The wheelchairs used obviously get a fair amount of use and battering during the games and therefore cost a lot to maintain and/or replace. These costs, coupled with transport costs to and from games, soon mount up – it would be fantastic to receive much needed support to ensure that all taking part in this sport can continue to do so!

A team of "volunteers" are aiming to cycle 46 miles on 3rd July lead by the infamous Andrew "Buddy" Holley.

Cycling 46 mile is somewhat of a challenge for most of us but Buddy is going to do this distance in his Hand Cycle!
