We are raising money to help make Herne Bay Pride possible and to keep the event free and accessible for everyone.

This year is especially important as it marks our 5th year as a grassroots, community-led and funded Pride, and we are proud to continue building an inclusive and welcoming event for everyone in our community.

Herne Bay Pride is not just a one-day event. We fund, organise, and deliver community events, outreach, and workshops throughout the year to support, educate, and bring people together across the local area.

Funds raised go towards:

Stage and sound equipment for live performances

Fees for performers, including drag artists, musicians, and speakers

Event infrastructure such as staging, barriers, and lighting

Safety and accessibility, including security, first aid, and accessibility support

Public liability insurance and council licensing costs

Facilities such as toilets, signage, and welfare provisions

Supporting community groups and creating a safe Pride village space

Year-round community events, workshops, and outreach activities

Herne Bay Pride is a non-profit, community-driven organisation, and fundraising ensures we can continue to deliver a safe, inclusive, and high-quality celebration while keeping the main Pride event free for the public.
