Story
Last summer, a farmer in Hertfordshire had 200 tonnes of rubbish and hazardous waste dumped on his field by fly tippers (https://www.thetimes.com/article/963953a3-a08f-483f-891b-2414941c9127?shareToken=a974b1086c5a17d86b0177638d6555fe).
The farmer, in his eighties, has been left to foot the £40,000 clean-up bill or face prosecution, after the Environment Agency deemed the 200 tonne clean-up job insufficiently large for them to get involved.
This farmer (who wishes to remain anonymous for security reasons) now faces financial ruin through no fault of his own, rather through the illegal actions of criminals who have not been brought to justice.
I am raising £45,000 to help this farmer clear his land, retain his livelihood, and better secure his land from anything like this happening again.
The plight of farmers has been well-documented recently, please help me assist someone who forms the backbone of our country through his work.
