    Story

    Welcome to the HertsPrems official family support group which aims to:

    1) Fund raise for equipment or service for the well being of patients, families and care givers neonatal units

    2) Provide Peer Support by means of offering contact in or out of hospital

    3) Provide information

    Our Vision

    Supporting parents of premature and sick babies while in Hospital and beyond

    Sharing HOPE in tangible ways with families in the NICU/SCBU in Herts/Bucks/Beds including neighbouring counties where possible

    Our Mission

    HertsPrems is the 'Go To' group for parents of premature and Sick BabiesHertsPrems was launched by two mums Audrey and Rebelah (Bekki) who had preemie babies and met on their first preemie journey in Watford General Hospital Special Care Baby Unit in 2010.     Audrey's journey started at Luton and Dunstable Neonatal Intensive Care Unit after having a 23+5 weeker 1lb 30z in 2010 and then had another brief preemie encounter at WGH SCBU after having a 35+2 5lbs 3oz weeker in 2015.     Bekki is a young single widow left mourning her dearly departed husband at 20 weeks and delivered her baby 35+6 weeker 3lbs 5oz in 2010. So yes we have been on the roller coaster journey with babies born too small, too sick and too soon.

    Together we formed HertsPrems as pacesetters who want to transform a generation to be a bench mark - we burn with the desire to help others flourish and thrive. We want to help maximise your lives to ensure that no one goes through the roller coaster Neonatal Journey alone.

    Life isn't meant to be easy, it's a marathon even the fittest person will hit a brick wall but raw determination will get you to the finish line. We are on this marathon together, to run a race and finish strong.

      We need you to help HertsPrems step into Summer with a 1 hours Spinathon to support HertsPrems work supporting families and babies born too small too sick too soon. Join us in the exciting new Stage Flight Spin Studios at Bushey Grove Leisure Centre https://www.busheygroveleisurecentre.co.uk On the 19th of May Registration at 12:00 for 12:30 start for just one hour Minimum Donation £10 per bike! Event better get friends and family to support you and help HertsPrems raise a lot more for the 24 bikes on offer.

      Babies Born Too Small Too Sick Too Soon and their families will be spending Christmas on neonatal wards. We would like to be able to offer them a ‘Gift of Hope’ a listening ear. Pull out your Christmas Jumpers on the 14/12/2018, feel free to take a photo challenge and share your pics with your friends whilst reminding them of HertsPrems Cause. No jumper simply donate.
