Hi, i think most of you are already aware of the personal impact Breast Cancer has had on our family over the past sixteen months. Some of you may have simply followed our journey via social media,, sending moral support and encouragement from afar whilst our close friends and family have been on the rollercoaster with us reasurring and supporting us at every twist and turn.

All of the support we have had from everyone along the way has been truly amazing and it really helped us through this difficult time. Hopefully for us now the ride is at an end, but knowing that in the 10 minutes I have taken to write this a further five people will have heard the words 'I'm afraid it is cancer’ is the heartbreaking reality 😢

We feel extremely fortunate, and I really wanted to give just a little back if possible. One of the things that really helped us manage the constant juggling act of life and work as normal with the punishing treatment schedule was Yvonne being able to have her Chemo closer to home at the Brodey Centre in Banbury, rather than making the long round trip to Oxford weekly. The entire Brodey team were just amazing throughout and we would love to thank them all, by raising a little money to either go towards equipment or simply ensuring staff and patients do not need to worry about donations for a while to ensure that there is a well stocked tea, coffee and snacks cupboard!!

In what can only be described as a moment of madness I have signed up supported by 12 other amazing ladies (aptly named Bon’s ninja warriors) to cycle 100km around London at night!! 😱 The event takes place on the the 5th May. I am also raising funds for some very worthy Womens Cancer charities too, which is on my other charity page if you feel so inclined 😉. Anything you can afford for either cause will be greatly appreciated, I will of course let you know what they decide to do with the money once we make the donation after the ride 😊
