Story

Hello, I'm Hetty.

I am a student in Secondary school studying for my GCSEs. I am lucky enough to attend a school that works with the World Challenge organisation. It gives its stundent's a chance get out into the World in a positive way, gain a different perspective and help others from all over.

To be able to fly miles across the World and get stuck into helping a community @16 is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The testimonials of those that have attended these programs are a true testament of how an experience like this can shape a young person by getting out of their comfort zone and most importantly helping others. Most attendees go on to have a passion for helping others and many continue their volunteer work full or part time.

I will be working with the rest of the 2020 team from school, World Challenge themselves, and of course my friends and family to prepare physically, raise awareness of the causes involved and fundraise the fee to attend the expedition with a range of events and work.

I am documenting my story on instagram and would love for you to join me ( @hettys_world_challenge ) as I start my fundraising journey all the way to Swaziland with the amazing people we will meet, places we will see and great projects we will be helping with.

I am hugely grateful for any form of support from the big wide world out there, from your time reading this, a quick share, a friendly follow or gracious donation. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Stay tuned.
