Weʼre raising £7,000 to help with travel costs and loss of earnings

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

My dear friend Shelley received the most devastating news this week that is every parents worst nightmare. Her 15 year old son Charlie, after being unwell for 9 months with no answers, has been diagnosed with 2 types of leukaemia. AML, the rare type and ALL.
Charlie will begin his chemotherapy at the end of this week which will be quite intensive and will have to continue for the next 5-6 months.
Charlie is an amazing young man who is loved by everyone that knows him. He is also a fantastic talent and is an awesome drummer with such passion for it. He has the most amazing and loving family that are supporting him. And his mum Shelley is the strongest woman i know. With tragedy having already struck this family before and more than anyone Shelley, it is so unfair shes having to now go through this. Shelley would do absolutely anything for anyone, she really is one in a million!
Shelley is a nail technician working from home, who has tirelessly invested time and money into building up her own business and generating a loyal clientele but has now had to cease her business until further notice to be with Charlie. And with her younger son and Charlies little brother Teddy at home, Shelley will be regularly traveling to and from London over the coming months.
With a long road ahead and the struggles that face them, I want to raise money to help towards Shelleys loss of earnings and her travel expenses.
So please anything you can donate will be so appreciated. Helping towards this will give Shelley one less thing to worry about which means she can concentrate on her boys and continue being strong for them.
A recent post by Shelley ended with her positive words of... he will drum again! so I will end my plea with the same.
Thank you!

Charlie is 15 and going through something no child should be going through. Charlie should be thinking about his GCSES but instead his stuck in London hospital wondering when his bone marrow match will be found. Please register yourselves and family to be a bone marrow donor. On Monday he had meds through a mask as his liver reacted badly to one of the previous meds he was having. This is to prevent chest infections.Today Charlie is undergoing a procedure to give him a chance of having a family in the future. This has only been tested on animals
