Story
For 9 years ive battled a disease called Idiopathic intercranial Hypertension. Last year i decided to try and do a truck pull to raise money for charity however my disease came back with a vengance and following medical advice i had to postpone it whilst i underwent surgery to place a stent in a collapsed vein within my head.
Today, 11 months and 1 day after my surgery my Neurologist had declared me in remission and has given me permission to do the truck pull! All monies raised will be donated to The Walton Center which is the hospital that gave me my life back. The Walton Centre is a leader in the treatment and care of neurology and neurosurgery, placing the patient and their family at the heart of everything they do. They are the only specialist hospital trust in the UK dedicated to providing comprehensive neurology, neurosurgery, spinal and pain management services.
