My grandma has been diagnosed with vascular dementia and Alzheimer's and it is making her forget how to do basic everyday things, my aim is to get her house fixed up so that it is safe for her to walk around in, she has a habit of turning the gas cooker on and looking for matches then forgetting about it and sitting down to watch the telly and she does this in the night when we are in bed and lucky for us we caught her in time, I just want to get child safe equipment to stop my grandma from either hurting herself or killing everyone in the house, she has gone back to being childlike in her ways because of this nasty disease, her wishes are to die in her house and not in a care home and I am trying my best but it is very hard without help
