I can‘t believe it is finally here, H landed in South Africa on Sunday morning (22/7/18) to start her amazing adventure. She left us on Saturday morning full of excitement and energy ready for the challenge ahead.

We are so proud of our amazing girl and her fund raising efforts to date. She has shown great determination, baking cakes, baby sitting, doing car boots, selling on the internet and given 100% of her earnings from filming as a background artist on programmes such as Safe (Netflix), So Awkward & 4 Oclock club (CBBC). With this and donations she has recieved she achieved 81% of her target. A phanomenal achievement for a 14 year old.

She writes....

In July 2018 I am taking part in a voluntary expedition to South Africa to help a local village and our partner school there. I will turn 15 years old whilst I am there.

Whilst out there, me and the group plan to participate in tasks that will help improve the lives of the children and let them grow up with a stable education.

I was 13 when I started raising money for this trip. I feel privileged in many ways to have this opportunity that will improve my life, and those of others whilst being able to experience new and exotic places.

The total cost is almost £3,000 of which I am raising £2,000 my self. This is all part of my learning and development.
