I started Hampshire Hidden Books with a simple idea: to put free books into the hands of children in our local communities.

Books are hidden in safe, accessible places for children and families to discover, take home and keep. There is no cost to the family and no obligation to return the book — once a child finds it, it is theirs.

I've started the project using books from my own stock, but I'd love to reach many more children. My goal is to place 2,027 books into communities during 2027, reaching towns and neighbourhoods across Hampshire and, hopefully, further afield as the project grows.

Money raised through this campaign will fund books purchased through me as an Usborne Independent Partner, which I will then prepare and distribute free of charge through Hampshire Hidden Books.

Every contribution, however small, helps another book find its way into the hands of a child. 📚❤️
