What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
Hurricane Harvey has devastated people and their homes and belongings in Texas, USA like Houston and other surrounding areas. Homes have been destroyed and damaged, peoples lives have been tragically taken and families distraught.
The governor of Texas says Harvey's damage estimate could be between $150 to $180 billion. Lets raise a little to help today.
High schools and churches have been used to house those affected who are injured, homeless and some people dead. Donations would be used to help those refurbish the damaged homes, and money to rebuild and give stability in a time of grief and uncertainty for those who are homeless due to the amount of damage..
Please take a moment to think of those who died and got injured by the affects of the hurricane.
