A little help please, as we prepare new accommodation for our present resident clients - decorating, furnishing and so on.

After 6 years, HHE is needing to relocate from its house in Brockley Road, due to the planned redevelopment of that area. As part of the solution we are fortunate to be leasing a house from CHP at short notice, and need to get it ready.

We're grateful to the Council and other partners and funders, who are continuing to support and encourage, We're calling on willing volunteers, and being ferry frugal by recyling and re-using of course, but it's an extra strain on our funds ....

A reminder - our mission is to promote recovery from alcohol abuse, to the benefit of the individual, family and friends, and the wider community. We offer a structured programme of therapy and practical support to clients in their early days free from alcohol, with a particular focus on the otherwise homeless.

In the words of one recent resident still very much part of the HHE family and Aftercare programme: "Thank heavens for HHE! I've learned how to stay sober and live life and I'm loving it :-). Please help make sure others have that chance in future"
