Weʼre raising £10,000 to improve the lives of prisoners in Ghana, and their families by offering healthcare and rehabilitation services.
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
We are looking to raise £10,000 to enable us to run our services for the next 12 months. Our current project is to provide hot meals for all prisoners in Ghana for valentines day.
Our services include free health screening and counselling services inside prisons to prisoners in need in order to detect and manage common diseases such as HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
We provide basic health and personal care items such as medication and toiletries to prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families in need through fundraising activities.
We ensure that affected prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families gain access to health through active membership of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
We run rehabilitation projects for prisoners and ex-prisoners to give them skills and experience to enable them to gain employment to reduce the chances of them re offending.
