On 8th September 2023, the villages in the foothills of the Atlas mountains, along with the city of Marrakech, were struck by an earthquake of 6.8 in magnitude.

This is the region of Morocco in which we travel with our mountain bikes, and where our local guide team lives and works. We were relieved to learn that all members of the team and their families are well, but they have been displaced from their homes and, of course, have lost people dear to them.

Many of you have travelled to Morocco with us and experienced the warmth and kindness of the Berber people, and would even consider our local team (Mohammed, Lahcen, Abdul, Mohammed, Houssain, Rashid) as friends, as we do.

If you would like join us in donating funds to send to our friends in Morocco, it will be very gratefully received. All funds raised (minus transaction fees) will go directly to the team in Morocco.
