I have set up this page to encourage brothers and sisters to donate no matter how small and be part of Sponsoring Hifz Orphan children which otherwise they may not commit too or in addition to current Sadaqah Jariyah.

There’s reward in caring for an orphan and reward in helping a child become Hafiz, imagine the reward for doing both at the same time.

“Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah SWT is similar to that of a seed which grows seven spikes; each spike is like a hundred grains. Allah SWT multiplies the reward for whomever He wills – for he is vast and knowing.” The Holy Qur’an (2:261)

I have chosen to support the Penny Appeal Hifz Quran Programme, please let me know if there is any other charity out there that may be worth looking into for future reference.

Hifz Orphan is a unique three to six year sponsorship programme that supports orphans in reading, learning and memorising the Holy Qur’an and gives them the quality care they need to build brighter futures.

A Hifz Orphan sponsorship is a beautiful opportunity for a child to turn their life around, creating a lasting relationship that brings faith, hope, and a profound appreciation of life.

Hifz classes are small and led by experienced teachers using modern techniques with a child centric approach that focusses on the individual child’s progress and unique rate of learning because every child is different and every child matters.

The full course to memorise the Quran lasts for 3 to 6 years which is a total of £1,512, £21 per month, or 70p a day, which isn't much really. You will gain reward for every single letter the orphan child reads and teaches to others because of your donations.

By the end of year three, children will have typically completed their Phase 1 Hifz programme and can recite with beautiful tajweed alongside age appropriate tutoring in Mathematics and English. Phase two focusses on the continued quality of supporting Hafiz Ul Quran ensuring retention and mastery, character building, tarbeeyah and continued development of learning to ensure the nurturing of leaders in communities.

All children get additional support to continue in Islamic or mainstream education, or to start a suitable apprenticeship post-graduation in year six.

All our Hifz orphans get nutritious meals each day, clothing and school uniform, healthcare and a dedicated guardian – all in a loving, caring family environment with lots of age appropriate play too.

With the Holy book at the core of the programme, when a child completes their Hifz Education, students gain excellent moral values, advanced memorisation skills, and most importantly, a loving home and family. This means children can spend less time working and more time being children. It's a beautiful gift to care for a child and you can ensure they have the chance at a successful future, out of poverty.

As soon I receive a welcome pack I will forward details of sponsored orphan, and every year forward feedback report which also includes a CD of a selection of our Hifz orphan students reciting the Holy Qur'an so you can see exactly how your support is improving their life and future prospects.

Please note if target amount is raised then In Shaa Allah immediate payment will be forwarded to Penny Appeal for the full duration of 3 or 6 years. Alternatively await for a year equivalent or similar amount to be raised £252 then set up monthly direct debit. Please feel free to set up direct debit and if commitments are made by few individuals then In Shaa Allah will support more Hifz Orphans together.
