I've raised £800 to raise money for Bhai Ghanayya Ji Charitable Trust (Unique home, Punjab, India) and our Sikh Society.

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa, vaheguru ji ki fateh!,
Please support us on our DEATH-DEFYING hike in the peak district. We are by no means professionals, but we will be hiking the 'mother of hills', Mam Tor for a great cause. The hike will span over a 5km trail and has over a 500m elevation...
To make things that bit harder, some of our members will be doing 100 press-ups at the peak, and for those that can't, they'll be doing star jumps ...
The point is, we are raising money for Unique home and our Sikh Society.
Unique home is in Punjab, India, and is a home which raises unwanted or abandoned girls (the full information can be found here: www.uniquehomeforgirls.co.uk).
Prakash Kaur, who is the main spirit behind the home, has set her life goal to raise these children as respecting citizens. She says: “I see these children as mine. They are not abandoned and are never made to feel that they were abandoned. Seeing the smile on their face fills my heart with joy.”
The other half of the money raised will go to our Sikh Society to help fund key events such as 'Homeless Drive', 'Langar on Campus' and room bookings which are used for Gurmat Vichaar and kirtaan.
Thanks in advance!
