We want to help children have a better future so we're walking a half marathon to raise funds for Blue Dragon Children's Foundation, Vietnam and Source of Light School, Uganda.

On Friday 8 September, we're walking from Danby to Great Ayton through the North York Moors National Park a distance of 13.1 miles over challenging terrain.

Blue Dragon Children's Foundation works to end human trafficking in Vietnam. The charity provides a hand up rather than a hand out; rescuing people from danger and working with them for the long term so they can heal from trauma, injustice and disadvantage.

Source of Light School was set up with the help of a young woman from Great Ayton. It now has over 300 children attending from a remote area in Uganda.
