I've raised £240 to support the work of Cancer Research, PLAN International and CPRW Montgomeryshire

For someone who used to think that the words 'fun' and 'run' should never belong in the same sentence, I find that I've signed up for a 10K run on Sunday October 15th!
The run takes place at the National Botanic Gardens, Carmarthen, Wales, which will raise money for the Royal Welsh Show.
I also want to use this event to raise money to share between three of my favourite charities: Cancer Research, PLAN International and CPRW (Montgomeryshire Branch), and with your support I hope to be able to give at least £200 to these charities.
Not having run much since school days (30+ years ago), it normally takes 10-12 weeks to prepare for going from couch to 10K, but having only started proper training last week, I've got the grand total of 6 weeks to get ready!
Your donations would be greatly appreciated to support some of the charities which mean a lot to me:
Cancer Research: researching 200+ cancers, without government funding.
PLAN International: a children's charity which strives to advance children’s rights, equality and living conditions all over the world.
CPRW Montgomeryshire: the CPRW (Campaign for the Protection of Rural Wales) champions the responsible use of Welsh landscapes.
