Hi Friends and Bredrins!

This Sun 29th July there is a triathlon at Holme Pierpont Nottingham called the Outlaw (http://www.osbevents.com/events/triathlon/outlaw-triathlon/). The idea being that you can ‘leg it’ far and wide enough to escape the Sherriff!

The distances covered being:

Swim 2.4 miles
Bike 112 miles
Run 26.2 miles

I’m hoping to escape the Sherriff and complete the course… and in doing so raise some funds in support of a local charity called Friends and Bredrins (FAB) prostate cancer support group http://fabcancersupport.org/ .

Why Friends & Bredrins?

In my opinion men, being men, tend to either whinge about nothing (i.e. man flu) or try and act tough and not say anything when they need to ask for help (i.e. prostate cancer  ).

So to all those ‘drama Kings’ out there!... I thought it would be good to give them a little bit of support, and help them to not suffer in silence..
