MDCF PATRON’s MRI APPEAL

Dear Friends, It is my great honour and privilege to launch my Patrons MRI Appeal for the UK based MDCF charity. MDCF are fund raising to obtain a MRI diagnostic machine to support an outstanding charitable hospital project in rural India. The Hospital treats the poorest children and adults in the surrounding area. To date 70,000 patients have been seen over a period of 6 years. A large number of these patients need MRI scanning to assist in the accurate diagnosing of head injuries, cancers and spinal injuries. Currently they are having to turn away seriously ill patients and send them to other hospitals for MRI scans. The journey to the nearest hospital performing MRI is expensive and medically hazardous. Most patients cannot afford the journey or the MRI scan and as a result become much more seriously ill. MDCF and I are trying to improve the medical care of these desperately ill people. Please help and donate with an open heart. Our target is £400,017. We can do it. Thank you. Chris Plenderleith, Patron MDCF (UK)
