- Hebden Bridge, United Kingdom
- Funded on Sunday, 31st January 2016
Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
Hebden Bridge & surrounding areas were devasted by the Boxing Day floodings. Many homes affected still don't have electricity, & certainly no means to cook with their kitchens needing replacing which is a long process. The Town Hall have been inundated with food donations which residents are slow to utilise because they are in the aftermath of cleaning with many still displaced from their homes. The Town Hall Cafe have been great working round the clock to provide continuous hot food/beverages!

Good luck with your family business - it's always been there as long as I can remember - long may it continue serving food and providing jobs for youngsters. Well done there.

I took over the family business from my retired parents. I broke tradition to employ young local people to serve/pack food, many have been students saving up to further their studies. I grew up in HB, attended Calder High School & know the community & its people well. Please help
