We are an amateur boxing club based in Hockley, Essex. We train children from the age of 10 in the sport of boxing. Boxers can compete in the amateur sport up until the age of 40. As an amateur club we are run as a charity and are registered as a CASC club meaning that we are a non profit organisation. Our boxers train in a safe environment by coaches that have competed up to professional levels themselves. Our boxers are supported with a program of fitness, skills, ability and focus, keeping them from the streets and given them a sport that will strengthen both there health physically and mentally, in a club environment. We are affiliated with England Boxing which has pathways that can lead to the olympics or the sport as a profession. We are proud to be supporting the "Gloves up knifes down" campaign in order to give kids an option to turn there lives around, and to compete in a sport. We have over 70 members in the club, and are desperate to expand, however to help with the progression of the boxers, we desperately need a mini bus which will enable us to travel as a team to shows, competitions, events and sparring, all of which will hugely benefit the boxers in their careers.
