Story

Richard Webbber and I are proud to be taking on the Battersea Half Marathon on Saturday 30th May, raising funds for the Steve Talboys Foundation — a charity dedicated to transforming young lives through sport.

In preparation for the challenge, we are committing ourselves to months of training, pushing both physically and mentally to be ready for race day. However, the challenge goes far beyond the 13.1 miles. We are equally determined to reach our fundraising target, helping support the incredible work carried out by the Foundation.

Established in 2019, the Steve Talboys Foundation continues the legacy of Steve Talboys by supporting children and young people to access amateur sport in their local communities. The charity provides funding to local sports clubs and individuals who may otherwise be unable to pursue their sporting ambitions due to financial barriers. Through sport, they help improve physical and mental wellbeing, build confidence, and create opportunities for young people to thrive.

The inspiring work carried out by the Foundation motivates us even more to complete this challenge and raise as much as possible. Knowing that our efforts can help young people experience the life-changing benefits of sport drives us every step of the way.

We are beyond proud to be participating and to support such a meaningful cause. Any support — whether through donations, encouragement, or sharing our journey — will make a huge difference.

Together, we hope to make every mile count. 🏃‍♂️
