I've raised £5250 to provide critical funds towards a summer holiday programme for learning disabled young people and adults.

Every year in Oxford, there are willing and able volunteers that provide summer holiday camps at Hill End for learning disabled adults and young people, providing their families with an often much needed break to focus on the needs of their other children or their own needs. It also gives the attendees a wonderful opportunity to connect with other learning disabled people, often friends, and enjoy a short break in a safe environment that is set up to specifically accommodate their needs, much unlike other holiday camps or locations.
These holidays continue to operate year on year, with amazing feedback from participants and their families. However, with shrinking resources and funding, it is becoming more and more difficult to continue to run these holidays despite increasing demand.
Without critical funding to employ trained staff and support the many wonderful volunteers who are kind enough to donate their time to support 60 learning disabled people each year, we will no longer be able to run these holiday camps, which have been running for nearly 40 years.
Please help us continue to run what is almost always the only opportunity for each individual to have a holiday each year.
