I've raised £500 to support my research trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos

Hey, I'm Holli, I live in Glasgow and attend Hyndland Secondary School. I have been given the opportunity to travel to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands in July 2018 for 2 weeks.
I am going to conduct some research which will provide valuable data to help the indigenous people protect their rainforest. The first week is reaserched based in the Amazonian rainforest to carry out various surveys from fish, large mammals, fauna, birds and the habitat. This is to help the Sani people that live in this area who have established a business to provide sustainable jobs and income whilst protecting their rainforest.
The second week I will be going the Santa Cruz Island. I will be helping to identify the different species on the island whilst supporting a level of tourism. Ultimately this will support the endangered species of the Galápagos Islands.
This opportunity is once in a lifetime and will be something I will never forget. The only problem is the trip costs a massive £3800! This is a lot of money, but on my own and with the school I will be doing fundraising activities to reduce the cost. I have set up this page to support some of my fundraising. I would really appreciate any contribution you are able to make.
Thank you!
