Story
Sophie has been given the opportunity to fly to Sumartra with her school to learn more about the devastating deforestation there and to help re plant trees in the rainforest. This is an amazing once in a lifetime experience for her where there are no hostels, hostels or life comforts.
In order to go, Sophie has to fund the trip herself at a cost of £3000. This is a colossal amount of money for a 12 year old to find. Sophie is already organising lots of local fundraising activies to raise money towards her target including car washing and dog walking. She is also looking for a weekend job to raise every penny that she can.
As Sophies big sister I always support her and try to help her whenever and however I can. I have given her what money I can afford but it's not a lot and I desperately want to do more. She is the most loving and kind person you could ever meet and she deserves to have this opportunity.
I am helping her with all her fundraising activies but would love to help her even more. £1000 would put Sophie well on her way to achieving her target. I am very grateful to anyone who wants to help me make this trip a reality for her.
Thank you
Hollie
