Weʼve raised £120 to Help Hollie travel to Uganda to provide the children of the slums with an education
- International volunteering

Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.
My name is Hollie and I am part of a team aiming to travel to Uganda in February 2017 as part of a college project to help educate children in the slums.
My college has set up a project called AfriDACA in which a group of 16 students, including myself, will travel out to Kampala to provide the children of the acholi tribe with an education. The education that we will provide will be for many of the Ugandans, the very first time that anybody has given their time to teach the young people of an area known as the Acholi Quarter. We will deliver basic Maths and English skills which will support the children in their futures.
In order for the trip to take place I must individually fundraise £1000. To raise this money I will be taking part in a 5k fun run at the end of October as well as selling unwanted and donated items.
All donations are greatly appreciated
