I've raised £1000 to Angel’s Walk for cause

Angel was born with multiple disabilities including 2 rare conditions. Part of Angels disability is she was born without a right hip socket, right femur, has a curved, shortened left femur and is missing the bottom part of her spine, as well as bilateral talipes, Angel was also born with enlarged brain ventricles and a hole in the heart (now rectified) and has a neuropathic bladder and bowel. We was told she would not survive til birth but she has surpassed all consultants expectations and is now a thriving 11 year old.
In February 2018, 2 days after her 10th birthday, Angel underwent a lower limb amputation at Great Ormond Street Hospital to allow Angel the best possible life, she could have, with her disability. All went amazing until Angel became very unwell and ultimately ended up on life support and spent 7 long weeks at GOSH. Great Ormond street Hospital not only, done a life changing operation on our daughter but saved her life too, with their fast actions and care.
Angel is now back to her normal, strong willed, determined self, along with her new prosthetic leg, that was made at the disablement centre at Medway Maritime Hospital.
We want to give back to GOSH and Medway Hospital, as much as we can. We have set up this JustGiving page to raise money for these 2 amazing places. Every last penny will be split between the two places, were we hope, it can make a difference to another childs life.
On August 7th 2019, we (my husband, Angel and myself) will be walking from our home in Sittingbourne, to Medway Maritime Hospital. Angel will be walking but her wheelchair will be taken, for those much needed breaks. We are expecting it to take around 5 hours, if all goes well.
