Story
My name is Holly and I suffer several debilitating conditions that have caused me to loose much of my mobility. In 2012 I was diagnosed with a genetic condition called ehlers danlos syndrome, a relatively rare condition that affects how my body constructs collagen. My faulty collagen causes my joints to be incredibly lax leading to painful daily subluxations (partial dislocations). My EDS affects all my joints, my skin and my internal organs.
I have lost sight in my right eye, and also have related conditions postural orthastatic tachycardia syndrome and gasteroparesis which are also incredibly debilitating. This amazing chair from Fold N Go would drastically change both mine and my families lives, making family trips out and just leaving the house to run errands so much easier. Despite also having Fibromyalgia and neurological issues I'm a country girl at heart and I love taking walks and exploring the local countryside, I'm very adventurous and love to off road but my current chair is struggling to keep up and quite frankly is falling apart.
Although my husband works and I myself try to add to the family pot by crocheting from my sofa and sometimes hospital bed we just can't afford to fund this alone. I've always hated asking for help but one thing being disabled has taught me is that you can't do everything alone, sometimes you need help. So I'm asking for help, in return I'd be happy to send small crocheted gifts as a token of my appreciation.

Crowdfunding is a great idea. If everyone in Cawood gave £1 it would be bought in seconds. Good luck Holly.
