At the beginning of September I'll be walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise money for these two amazing charities.

Some of you will know that in November 2019 I was diagnosed with Papillary Carcinoma thyroid cancer, which I had surgery for in December 2020 and have since recovered from and had a clear scan. During the year following my diagnosis I chose to take an integrative approach to my treatment and healing, and I couldn't have done it without the help of these two charities. They both gave me hope and support when my life felt pretty dark, and I'm super grateful for that.

West Yorkshire MS therapy centre provide a range of services such as Hyperbauric Oxygen therapy and an Infrared Sauna , for just a donation, which makes their services financially accessible to all, when these can otherwise be very costly treatments. Their services are available to anyone with MS, cancer or acute injuries. It's also an amazing supportive community and a place you can go to talk to like minded people having similar experiences.

Yes to Life is an integrative cancer charity who aim to provide information on integrative cancer treatment options. They were such an important financial support for me and allowed me to have consultations with an integrative oncology nurse which otherwise would have been unaffordable through the private sector. They are an inspirational charity because they give you the information needed to make empowered, holistic choices about your health and cancer recovery.

I can't thank these two charities enough for their support in my cancer experience, and would love it if you can spare any amount at all to help them continue on their path to helping people and raising awareness.
