Story

Being given a second chance of life, thank you to my incredible organ donor puts things into perspective in a way that you never realise until you have been that scarily close to your last breathe.... family & friends really are all you need.

I suffer with Cystic Fibrosis since birth which is a genetic condition that causes recurrent lung infections and scarring along with a list of other issues that altogether take a toll on your body. In 2014 i was lucky enough to have a double lung transplant, just as well i did as my lung function was down to 10%. I was on oxygen, in a wheelchair and didn't have much of a quality of life at all, planning for a family defiantly was not on the cards.

Growing up, i told myself that i would never be able to be a mum due to my condition. Which was very true, i would defiantly not of been able to have a baby before my successful transplant. However, shortly after my transplant i met my lovely hubby . . . and this is where our story starts...

We both have grown up in big busy households with brothers and sisters and are very family oriented. Julian has taken on all my medical challenges in his stride and supported me through creating embryos for our future very early on in our relationship. We have our little frozen babies on ice now ready to go ... we just need to raise as much as possible to be able to afford the whole package that the Surrogacy Journey will rinse us dry of.. and that's before any baby appears !! god help us!

Since i cannot carry a little bub myself due to all my medical issues.... in order for me and Julian to start a family we need to find a wonderful Surrogate Mummy and our baby will have a 9 months' sleepover in her belly until ready to meet us:)

As always, this is coming at an extreme price. We are asking for anyone who would wish to donate to our journey and be part of something so special, ... we really would appreciate the help towards raising money for our journey.
