As some of you may know i visited The Gambia late last year with my sixth form to help aid villages, health centres, schools and nurseries who are living/working in poverty.

Over the twenty six years Beacon Sixth form have visited, we have raised a phenomenal amount, and through collaboration with our community partners we have funded water systems, school buildings and school equipment and resources, health centre buildings and equipment, health care programmes, and many other projects over the years.

Due to being so inspired and having such a great time last year I am fortunate enough to revisit The Gambia in December of this year. Last year we raised £38,000 the highest we have ever reached and were able to fund 36 projects all together including sending 3 Gambians to university with a scholarship.

Every single donation that is made on this page goes straight to the organisations we are helping and I cannot stress enough how little of a donation can make such a huge difference.
