I've raised £35000 to Holly's Journey

In July 2017 whilst 5 months pregnant my wife Holly was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer aged 24. After a mastectomy she underwent 8 months of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy and in the middle of all of this gave birth to our beautiful daughter Harper.
Holly remained extremely brave managing to work and run her dance school throughout her treatment whilst being a new mummy.
Life finally started to get back to normal and we celebrated our wedding in November 2019. In July 2020 Holly's cancer returned, this time being inoperable, incurable but 'treatable' and our lives fell apart all over again.
Holly was braver than us all and got prepared to fight this once more. Getting back on the rollercoaster and 3 more months of chemo/immunotherapy, we took another blow to learn that it hadn't worked and the type of treatment needed to be changed.
Due to new integrated treatments and alternative protocols that are not available on NHS, we were desperate to get Holly started on these along with standard treatment as soon as possible and after just 3 months we were absolutely thrilled to learn the latest scan has shown that the tumour has shrunk considerably. This has come at a huge cost of over £1700 per month. We have managed so far along with family to fund this ourselves. However, we have now reached a point where we need to ask for help which is incredibly hard to do.
We understand that the past year has been difficult for many and we are very much aware that everyone we know contributed to the fundraising set up last summer by Holly and her friends raising over £12000 for the Breast Unit at North Tees. This makes it all the more difficult to ask for help again, this time for treatment for Holly herself giving her a fighting chance!
Once allowed, all other efforts will be made to arrange fundraising events to support Holly's journey.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this and we will be so very grateful for any amount donated.
