I've raised £2000 to Help me take food and clothing to Kenya and volunteer in the Kindergarten teaching the children maths!

My name is Holly, I am 14 years old. I help fundraise for the charity Educate the Kids.
The charity sponsors children in Kenya to go to school, and every year a singing group called The Singing Children of Africa comes to the UK and sings to help raise money and awareness for this amazing cause. I was lucky enough to meet all the kids that visited and have made life long friends.
People take for granted an education in this country. In Kenya, if your family can't afford it you don't get one.
This is where Educate the Kids steps in. Children are sponsored to go to school. Founded 20 years ago the charity is run entirely by volunteers, so every penny goes to where its needed. It costs just £11 a month to send a child to kindergarten and primary school, and that includes a meal! The first little boy to be sponsored was found begging on the streets by the founder. That little boy is now a lawyer. It really works, its giving these children a hand up not a hand out. And in turn the children who have been educated give back into the community. The charity now sponsors over 900 children, but there are hundreds more that need help.
The children get a meal at school and that is often the only meal they get a day. Did you know that £10 buys enough food to last a family of four a month!!! My mum spends on average £85 a week on food shopping!!
The reason I am looking for donations is because I am looking at taking a trip to Kenya next year. I want to volunteer and teach maths in the Kindergarten. I also want to buy clothes and food parcels for the children and their families, and hopefully have enough to get at least some of the children matresses to sleep on. Most of them sleep on dirt floors.
£2000 is my target that will cover my travel and accomodation, leaving approx £1000 - £1300 for food and clothing and hopefully some matresses, if i can raise more than that then that would be amazing!
These children have literally nothing, they are always smiling and happy. Every child deserves an education like me. If I can help in anyway I can then I will.
