Bridge the Gap is helping organise the 3rd Annual Holmes Chapel Pride event on Saturday 12th September from 3pm until 8pm.

This is event is run solely by volunteers and is entirely reliant on donations to cover the necessary costs involved in the road closure etc.

Our Pride events aim to demonstrate that our community is friendly, welcoming and accepting for everyone.

We believe that through raising awareness helps improve acceptance & understanding.

We want our Pride event to be a celebration of the diversity within the LGBTQ+ community, and to show how far LGBTQ+ rights have come, & how in some places there is still work to be done.

We think our Pride is be about acceptance, equality, conversation, networking and celebrating the work of LGBTQ+ people, education in LGBTQ+ history and raising awareness of issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community.
