The last year has been tough, so many people out there have lost their jobs and find themselves struggling to support their families and keep food on the table. That's why we've decided to jump in and see what we could do to support "Hope for Food", a local food bank here in Bournemouth, Dorset.

OUR MISSION

The team here at the Holt Recruitment Group have decided to commit to a 24hr "A Mile an Hour" run on April 23rd! How does it work? Well, certainly glad you asked! Our select runners (we use the term "runners" very loosely in this case, as there aren't any actual runners here amongst us) will run a 1.1-mile loop every hour for 24hrs, effectively completing just over a marathon each over the 24hr period.

Meanwhile, we'll be working a normal day in between runs and staying on to complete the challenge during the night until the end of the 24hr period.

HOPE FOR FOOD - THE MOTIVATION FOR OUR CAMPAIGN

"Hope for Food" is a small charity on a mission to assist men, women and children in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas. They help individuals who are living in poverty or even homeless people by providing fresh, hot meals at their soup kitchens as well as weekly hampers of food, good quality clothing, bedding and household goods, where needed.

In addition to raising much needed funds here on JustGiving (thank you for helping us towards our £1500 target), we are also collecting non-perishable donations. You can donate at our Bournemouth offices. Please see the list of required items and donation dates on our website here.
