Every year people buy pets for their children before thinking about the cost and responsibility involved. This leads to thousands of cases of neglect, abuse and even death of small animals. I personally find this heart breaking and having raised many small animals myself know the cost of boarding fees etc etc. We want to provide a cheap foster home to care for small animals during times when families cant care for them either due to illness, house move or holiday. We want to offer short term and full term care to unwanted pets or pets whose owners just cannot for any reason take care of them. We together have a vast knowledge of pet care and small animal care and as i reach semi retirement i would love to devote my spare time to helping to give abandoned animals a warm safe environment full of love to live out their days happily.I get no greater joy than spending an afternoon in the garden with my furry friends and know that there is a desperate need for this service throughout the uk.
The money raised will be used to for initial set up costs to get started installing housing. insurance, a web site, marketing and secure transportation for collecting and transporting animals to and from the vets. Going forward we will rely on donations, volunteers and fundraising to continue supporting these vulnerable animals.
