Home from home dementia day care is a very much needed service for those living with dementia. The bungalow recently opened (August 1st) and has so far been completely self funded. Myself and my husband purchased a gorgeous little bungalow and have made it as dementia friendly as possible.

I feel so strongly about providing the best possible service that I quit my job to enable me to concentrate on making the business work, which unfortunately means that I'm running out of funds very quickly; and still require a ramp at the front door, grab rails at the front and back door and in the bathroom, as well as a lockable filing cabinet in the office, and an office chair to save my poor back as I currently use a dining room char which is the wrong height! I also need to spend a small fortune on advertising to reach prospective clients (I have discovered through trial and error that printed leaflets work better than social media)

I am hoping to get separate funding to finish off the garden.

I really want this business to work, not only for myself, but the people living with dementia in Hinckley and surrounding areas. Please help me to make this the best possible service
