I've raised £35000 to Help fund a new Central Development Centre for the Homeless of Leicester.

Imagine having no access to clean water for washing, a cuppa or a shower.Imagine no 24 hour access to toilet facilities.Imagine no roof overhead to keep out the elements or anywhere to cook food.
You would think it would be a situation from a third world country but it is the reality for the increasing number of homeless people living on the streets of Leicester.
Budgets are being cut, services are being stretched and many of these people are being, sadly, overlooked.
We are aiming to provide Hope for the Future for the homeless and vulnerable on our city’s streets by opening a 24 hour, central drop in centre.
It will have showers, toilets, a safe room, a room to privately get help and advice, lockers to help protect belongings from the many thefts from our homeless community, a kitchen area where food can be cooked or heated and a clothes shop where the public or members of the homeless community can safely come in and buy the clothes they need....bringing some self esteem and control back into their lives.
As well as all the basics there will be a medical assessment room set up and maintained by Leicester Medical Support.
This is where we turn to you. We need your help to help get the centre up and running for the first year including any refurbishments and installations that are needed. Your donations will be vital to make this dream a reality.
If you are a business and would like to sponsor the centre we can also arrange for your support to be advertised at the premises.
Thank you for your time.
