There is a massive street homeless problem within the Bradford District that is not being tackled by the local authority . Most people dismiss or judge those less fortunate than them selves and see our street friends as lost causes or self inflicted curcumstances . In this day and age why do we still have people living on our streets ? Why do they not have a home , a warm bed , access to water and sanitary conditions ? Yes it is true that many of our homeless have complex issues but we are all human and everyone deserves a basic human right of a home. Without a home they cannot access mainstream services or support and often turn to crime to survive . This vicious circle needs to be broken and we aim to provide a hot meal , give them toiletries , clothes , sleeping bags and lend a listening ear and support them as much as we can often referring them if need be . We are Homeless Aid Action and we are 3 volunteers who are self funded . We use our own money to feed the homeless but as we are now feeding upto 40 individuals on a weekly basis , the cost is becoming too much . Without our visits , a lot of vulnerable people will not be listened to or fed so please donate as much as you can to help our cause and contribute to uour local community
