Story

Today I (Lyn Farrugia) saw a very young, homeless man sitting on the floor at the entrance to Christopher Place. Everyone was hurrying past him, carrying bags full of shopping going about their daily routine. He didn't look like he had a routine, or any bags full of anything. I asked him if he had had anything to eat or drink yet and he didn't. He didn't ask for much, just a cheese and ham toastie and a white tea. He had his name down with Open Door, but they didn't have any space for him.

Herts Young homeless can offer him short term and long term help such as travel passes, food parcels, nights accommodation etc. We are hoping with the generosity of the local community we can help this gentleman and many more to eat and stay warm this Christmas.
