Hi there I was wondering if anyone could help, I met a homeless guy in Stirling today called Robert and got chatting to him for about an hour and a half. was wondering if anyone could donate anything every little helps he is currently fighting with Stirling council for accommodation just now, he doesn’t receive any benefits because he doesn’t have an address he has been to a few food banks but he has no where to cook food or eat it with, he’s recently been in hospital with pneumonia and the council still won’t help him he has been homeless for 6/7 months now, and he would rather people would help him with food and clothes or help get him get him put up for a night or two in cheap b&b or hostel than someone to give him money as he knows folk won’t want to give money to homeless as most of us do think it’s for alcohol or drugs, he has just been passed from pillar to post when he goes to homeless shelters, he really isn’t asking much he’s just asking for a little help to get back on his feet so he can get a little house and a job so his 5 yr old daughter can come stay with him,he moved from Edinburgh to Stirling to be with his daughter and her mum(his girlfriend at the time) but she kicked him out he hasn’t got any family that can help him. He was a lovely wee guy and I felt so bad for leaving him out there in the cold but I know he’s got a place to stay tonight in a hostel £16 a night. i can provide proof of receipts and items bought , any help would be greatly appreciated
