Weʼve raised £0 to help the homeless at Christmas

    Story

Every year I try to do a thing or two for charity. Earlier on in the year I held a Charity funday in the memory of my aunt who had recently passed away. We managed to raise just under £800 in a 3 hour funday that included a Charity football match, pitch side DJ, raffles, side shows, stalls, waxing plus loads more..

Now, at this time of year, the temperature starts dropping, weather gets harsher, nights get longer and of course, Christmas is round the corner.

For most, if not all, we don't have to worry how cold it is outside or how harsh the weather is and as for Christmas, some of us may struggle financially but we will get over it as we do every. single. year.

While basking in our materialistic luxuries at home, complaining our houses may be a little too cold at night or in the morning, complaining there's nothing 'decent' to eat so you phone a delivery or turn the heating on without a second thought. We do this while there are normal British people that don't have these options. They don;t have the choice to crank the heating up, they don't have the money or even a phone to phone something because there's not much in the cupboards. They live day-to-day, with next to nothing, while we walk by and step over them in the middle of the street instantly judging them as we pass by. I walk past them every day, only because I instantly assume they're faking it, they're a druggie or a drinker who will blow the money on that instead of food and water, who else is guilty of thinking this? I know I am!!

All lives should matter, not just the lives who are surrounded by a loving family or a warm roof over their head. There is people on the streets of the UK, right now!! who are there purely due to real life problems that we all face every day.

What I want to do to help these people is to buy and fill 10 rucksacks with some of the following:

    Sleeping Bag
    Hats & Gloves
    Food & Water
    Toiletries
    First Aid Kit
    Multi Purpose Tool
