Home of Hope is a non-profit organisation which works in partnership with a registered NGO in Tanzania, East Africa. We provide relief work as well as education and training to disadvantaged children and their families through our community projects. After spending several months teaching in Tanzania in 2008, Home of Hope volunteers have since been working together to raise awareness and provide support to children and their families in a rural village in Arusha, Tanzania. It has been amazing to see the progress many of our children and their families have made over recent years and we want to continue with our work!

All funds will go directly towards developing our community projects which are as follows:

Home of Hope Nursery School - we would like to raise enough funds to be able to build a water well at the community centre/nursery school to provide a constant water supply to the children and close community. We also aim to provide play equipment at the centre which will range from activities and classroom equipment to outdoor swings and slides.

Sewing Group - we would like to be able to provide our sewing group with a constant supply of material so that they can continue to make a sufficient amount of clothing to sell, enabling them to provide for their families.

Home of Hope Sponsorship Programme - not all of our sponsored children have a sponsor and we rely heavily on donations to fund their school fees. All of our sponsored kids are making fantastic progress at secondary school and we want this to continue to give them the best future possible.
